RSPB Limited Edition Bottle
The Perfect Partnership
To mark our 15th year of partnership with the RSPB, we commissioned artist Nuria Boj to create something truly special.
The inspiration behind this limited-edition bottle comes from Philippa Gloag, the daughter of our founder and the woman behind the wings. It was Philippa who drew the very first, and now famous, grouse that adorns every bottle.
The design for the sleeve was created by Nuria Boj, an established illustrator and animator based in Edinburgh. Nuria uses a high level of detail to create visual stories. In this case, the story of how our Famous Grouse came to be.
This extraordinary collaboration marks our 15th year of working with the RSPB, a partnership that has helped to plant 150,000 trees, improve 85,000 acres of land and, most importantly, create new homes for the birds that made us famous. It’s a conservation story worth celebrating and one that wouldn’t exist without the woman behind the wings.

The woman behind the wings
We often wonder when Phillipa Gloag drew the very first grouse, if she knew how far it would fly. What better way to celebrate our partnership with the RSPB than a nod to the creator of the grouse that adorns every bottle, the daughter of our founder and the woman behind the wings. So, when it came to the new design, it felt natural that a talented female artist like Nuria Boj should be the one to give this limited edition bottle life.

Partners for Good
Starting in 2008, our partnership with the RSPB has helped to plant 150,000 trees, improve 85,000 acres of land and, most importantly, create new homes for the birds that made us famous. This new limited edition design celebrates the combined effort and achievement thus far and marks the next step in our commitment to supporting the RSPB.
As part of our pledge to protect our Grouse’s kin and their habitat, our celebratory bottle sleeve is made from 30% post-consumer recycled plastic. When you’ve shared your final tipple, keep the sleeve on the bottle & pop it into your glass recycling as usual. During the recycling process, the sleeve will be incinerated to create energy.
