We have made every effort to make our site as accessible and easy to use for everyone, no matter what browser you choose to use, and whether or not you have any disabilities. The following page covers some of the things we have done.
Navigation
At the start of every page there is a short menu, visible to screen readers and users with style sheets disabled, that allows you to jump directly to some key areas and pages on the site. Each of these also has an access key associated with it. The same menu appears on all the pages of this site.
Sighted users who use the keyboard to navigate will also see these links appear on screen when using the Tab key to navigate through the page.
Access keys
Access keys are keyboard shortcuts that replace the need to use the mouse for navigation in browsers that support them. In Internet Explorer on Windows, you can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key. Once selected press Enter to activate the link.
The following access keys are available thoughout the website:
- 1: Jump to the website Home page
- S: Skip navigation and jumpt straight to the page content
- N: Skip sub-navigation and jump to main navigation
- 0: Jump to Accessibility page
- 3: Jump to Site Map
- 8: Jump to Legal/privacy
- 9: Jump to Contact Us
Fonts
You may override the font sizes used on this site through your browser:
* In Internet Explorer, select View, then Text Size, and then your preferred size.
* In Netscape select View, then Text Zoom, and then your preferred percentage size.
This site uses cascading style sheets to control its visual layout so if you wish to override the site's font settings, you can import your own style sheet. The site will work with style sheets disabled.
Images

All images used in this site include alt text. Purely decorative graphics include empty alt text. Background images have been used for some decorative elements.

Tables
This site does not currently use tables. Layout is controled by stylesheets.
Forms
There are currently no forms used on this site .
Scripting
Java script is used discreetly to provide additional non-essential functionality.

This site does not validate correctly due to the use of the underscore hack. This has been used as certain pages require a minimum height to ensure the navigation is displayed correctly in Internet Explorer.
